Paper Pretties' Wednesday Challenge #195: Favorite Snowflakes

Stamps:  Paper Pretties 'Snowflakes'.  Cardstock:  Baja Breeze, Real Red, SU DP, Papertrey white.  Ink:  Baja Breeze, Real Red, Versafmark, Versafine black.  Accessiories:  Circle Nestabilities, Winter Wonderland EP, organdy and satin ribbons.
Our challenge this week is to create a project showcasing our favorite stamp set.
My favorite set is this elegant 'Snowflakes' -- not only is it pretty, but so versatile! And such a sweet sentiment, too!!  I used the two smallest snowflake images to create this wreath for our Christmas Card challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.  Imke challenged us to create a holiday card featuring both a tag and a wreath.

Paper Pretties' Wednesday Challenge #193: Fold It

Stamps:  Paper Pretties 'Timeless Love'.  Cardstock:  Black, shimmery Pink, Paper Studio DP.  Ink:  Real Red.  Accessories:  oval Nestabilities, red organdy ribbon.
Our challenge this week is to use a fun FOLD on your project.
For my card, I chose an old favorite, the simple Gate Fold.  So easy, but still impressive.  Plus, it leaves plenty of room inside for the personal message.  Or love letter, since this card was actually planned to be an anniversary card (or belated Valentine)!

Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #133: Valentine Treats

Stamps:  DRS Designs 'Giga Heart Circle', Papertrey 'Mailbox Greetings' sentiment. Cardstock:  We R Memory Keepers 'LoveStruck', Textured red, GP110 white.  Ink:  Riding Hood Red, Versmark.  Accessories:  Winter Wonderland EP, organdy red ribbon, Giga circle punch, SU scallop border punch, Ki Memories 'Puffies' heart.
Here's our sketch for this week's challenge; I imagined it to include a 4"x 4" card plus scrapling, but wait until you see what our DT created!
Since it's a Judged Challenge, there is an added twist.  The twist part of challenge is thrown down by Marie:
2-1-4   (2 ribbons, 1 embellishment, 4 layers)
In honor of the holiday (and since I needed a card/gift for my sweetie!), I went with a Valentine's Day theme and created a box for chocolates along with the scrapling. I used the this TUTORIAL on Splitcoast Stampers for this quick and easy box.

Our sponsor this week is DRS Designs who carries this heart circle which coodinates perfectly with the Marvy Giga punch.

Paper Pretties' Wednesday Challenge #191: Ribbon or Twine

Paper Pretties 'Frosty'.  Cardstock:  GP110 white, Papertrey white, Paper Studio 'Happy Hootin' Holidays', Old Olive.  Ink:  Memento black, Copics, Versafine black, Versamark.  Accessories:  Nestabilities rectangles, White Wonderland EP, satin ribbon.
Our challenge this week is to use RIBBON or TWINE on your project.

For my card, I went with a Christmas theme to keep up with our weekly Christmas Card Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. This week's theme by Patti is to create a card using non-traditional holiday colors. Light blue, olive green, and pink should all count, but I had to include a bit of red for the cardinal, right??
